Week 2 Discussion

The brand I chose is the Dallas Cowboys they play at the AT&T Stadium. Even though the AT&T Stadium is the home of the Dallas Cowboys, several NCAA both basketball, and football games are played there. Along with concerts from various artists. It seated 80,000 with a retractile roof and was opened 2009. AT&T is one of the biggest mobile phone companies out there. Being the name of the stadium for the Cowboys is a huge advantage in pushing their mobile technology.

The stadium has new interactive technology built into for the fans experience. They have worked to improve the DAS and Wi-Fi capabilities in the arena. According to dallascowboys.com, Since the announcement of the stadium’s new name in the summer of 2013, the cellular network capacity has been increased by more than 50 percent with connectivity equivalent to 17 cell sites, enough to power the entire city of McKinney, a suburb north of Dallas. As technology advances so rapidly in today’s marketplace, the partnership between AT&T and the Cowboys ensures the stadium will be at the forefront, with AT&T addressing the latest innovations that are about to hit the market and figuring out how to incorporate those into the venue in order stay ahead of every other stadium and arena.
